This is a worrying time for us all. Following the news of the new variant of the virus and the government’s introduction of a national lockdown we have redoubled our efforts to keep our residents and staff safe whilst continuing to provide high quality homes and services.
All staff and contractors are following the guidance from the government and Public Health England and we remain open for business, though we’re adapting how we deliver some services as outlined below.
Our head office at Wood Lane remains closed to visitors except for essential pre-arranged appointments. However, our staff team are available by phone and email from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday.
Managers at the Older Women’s Schemes will still be on site as usual. Estates Services Officers will continue to inspect communal areas and gardens and carry out health and safety checks.
Repairs and maintenance activities will continue, save where anyone in the household is shielding or self-isolating. In those cases we will only carry out work where there is a direct risk to health or safety.
All our staff and contractors will be following the government’s guidance on safe working e.g. wearing appropriate PPE, observing 2m social distancing and using hand sanitiser or washing hands regularly.
