Working With Others
Staying First

Staying First, part of Shepherds Bush Housing Group, is a social enterprise aiming to help people stay in their homes. We are pleased to work with Staying First to provide free and confidential advice to tenants we refer for debt and financial advice. Staying First’s work includes benefit advice and money management services
Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance

DAHA’S mission is to improve the housing sector’s response to domestic abuse. A partnership between housing associations Gentoo and Peabody with charity Standing Together against Domestic Violence, DAHA aims to develop staff confidence and skills so that residents get the right response if faced with domestic violence. Women’s Pioneer’s has DAHA accreditation.

Women’s Pioneer Housing is a member of Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea’s Pathways to Work programme aimed at helping social housing tenants into work.

St Mungo’s Community Housing Association is a registered charity working with homeless women and men. When the opportunity arose we converted an empty property in Earl’s Court to self-contained flats and gave St Mungo’s a long lease to enable them to house and support women with mental health needs.
Rough Sleepers Initiative
The Rough Sleepers Initiative was set up by central government with the aim of making it “unnecessary for anybody to sleep rough on the streets of London”. Women’s Pioneer Housing has been part of this since 1992, helping to house female rough sleepers. 92% of rough sleepers helped through this initiative never return to rough sleeping.
