Vacancy: Women’s Social History Researcher and Project Lead

Women’s Pioneer Housing, London’s largest women’s housing association, is seeking a Project Lead to deliver a Heritage Lottery funded project to research our history.

Women’s Pioneer was founded by suffragists and suffragettes in 1920. The project Pioneering courage: housing and the new working woman 1919 -1939″ will explore the links between the campaign for women’s suffrage, housing and women’s emerging role in the workplace between the wars.  This is an exciting untold story of courage and determination by fascinating women, some hitherto unrecognised, and the impact they had on the struggle for women’s equality.

This is a part-time fixed term post to October 2020. The salary is £15,000 pa for 2.5 days per week (£30,000 pro-rata).
