Women’s Pioneer Housing’s Inaugural Art Exhibition
Women’s Pioneer Housing held our first art exhibition on 23rd August. It was a wonderful evening with a great atmosphere, and what we hope is the first of what will become an annual event. It was a truly inspiring event and the art was incredible – many thanks and congratulations to all our artists!
We decided not to set a theme for the exhibition, to allow our artists free reign in what they chose to display and how. We saw a wide range of mediums: textile, pottery, watercolours, paintings, digital illustrations and sketches. See below for the highlights! We plan to display the art and poetry of our residents at our 98th Founders’ Day celebration on 3rd October, click here for more information on how to get involved.

Resident Aramatou Toure presents her fantastic textile art and poetry on empowerment.
